1. Who we are

This site is operated by Capsule Hotels Group ("we", "us"), with its head office at 2042 Boulevard Saint-Laurent, Montréal, Québec. We operate capsule hotels in Montréal and offer direct online booking.

2. Privacy Officer

3. Information we collect

We collect only the information necessary for our operations:

• Booking and stay — name, email, phone number, stay dates, payment details (processed by our secure booking engine, Cloudbeds; we do not store your full card numbers).
• Communications — the content of emails, forms or messages you send us.
• Browsing — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referral source, through cookies and tracking technologies (see section 6).

4. How we use it

Your information is used to:

• process and confirm your bookings and manage your stay;
• communicate with you (confirmations, customer service, responses to your requests);
• ensure security, prevent fraud, and meet our legal and tax obligations;
• measure the performance of our website and advertising campaigns, and improve our services;
• where applicable, show you relevant advertising on third-party platforms (see section 6).

5. Consent

By booking or using our site, you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes described above. Non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising) are activated only with your consent, which you may withdraw at any time (see sections 6 and 8).

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

Our site uses cookies and tracking pixels:

• Essential cookies — required for the site and the booking process to function.
• Analytics — to understand how the site is used.
• Meta Pixel (Facebook/Instagram) — we use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. The pixel may record your interactions with our site (pages viewed, booking started).

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also manage Meta's targeted advertising in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.

7. Sharing and disclosure to third parties

We never sell your personal information. We disclose it only:

• to service providers acting on our behalf — including Cloudbeds (booking engine and payment), Meta Platforms (advertising and measurement) and our web analytics tools;
• where required by law (tax authorities, valid legal requests).

Transfer outside Québec: some of these providers (including Meta and our analytics tools) process information outside Québec, notably in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure this information receives adequate protection.

8. Your rights

Under Law 25, you have the right to:

• access the information we hold about you;
• request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
• withdraw your consent to its use;
• request that we stop disseminating information or de-index a link, where provided by law.

To exercise these rights, write to the Privacy Officer (section 2). We will respond within the timeframes required by law. If our response does not satisfy you, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec (cai.gouv.qc.ca).

9. Retention

We keep your information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, after which we securely destroy or anonymize it.

10. Security

We apply reasonable physical, organizational and technological safeguards to protect your information against loss, theft and unauthorized access. Payments are processed over encrypted connections.

11. Changes

We may update this policy. Any significant change will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
